Our story
Rooted in Cameroon. Built for the global market.
Founded by Chris-Henry Khunju Fotabong, Krispy Cacao & Co connects Cameroonian cacao and coffee with international buyers. His upbringing in Lebialem and more than a decade living in Sweden shaped a business built to bring origin knowledge and commercial coordination closer together.
From Lebialem to Sweden
Growing up in Lebialem in Cameroon's Southwest Region, Chris saw the work involved in producing cacao and coffee and the role farming played in family and community life. He also saw farmers with limited access to market information and little influence over what happened after harvest.
More than a decade in Sweden brought another perspective: buyers need to understand origin, quality, handling, traceability, documentation, commercial terms and delivery conditions before entering a sourcing relationship. Krispy was founded to connect those expectations with knowledge and relationships at origin.
Two companies with distinct roles
Diamex Group International coordinates activities at origin in Cameroon, while Krispy Cacao & Co manages international buyer relationships from Sweden.
Diamex Group International
Cameroon | Origin coordination- Works with farmers and local operating partners on sourcing, aggregation, post-harvest and quality-control activities. It coordinates origin and lot information, storage and export preparation, local logistics and supporting documents.
Krispy Cacao & Co
Sweden | Buyer and commercial coordination- Coordinates buyer requirements, samples and product evaluations, technical and origin information, quotations, commercial negotiations and contracts. It coordinates compliance and shipment documentation with the buyer and Diamex, and supports communication from enquiry through delivery.
Origin profiles help begin the conversation. Purchasing decisions should be grounded in representative samples and current information about the relevant lot. Specifications, volumes, documentation and certifications are confirmed for each offer and contract.
Quality and traceabilityRelationships beyond the harvest
Chris's experience in Lebialem shaped his ambition to give farmers a stronger voice in the market their products serve. Through Diamex, planned farming and post-harvest support, quality feedback and more direct purchasing relationships are intended to connect buyer expectations with value at origin. The aim is a relationship that continues beyond a single harvest, built on trust and clearer information for both producers and buyers.
I founded Krispy Cacao & Co. because I believe the people who cultivate cocoa and coffee should be seen, respected and included in the value their work creates. Our responsibility is to connect them with the international market through quality, transparency and relationships built to last.
