Relationships beyond the harvest
Our ambition is to give producers a stronger connection to the markets their cacao and coffee serve. Through Diamex Group International, we intend to develop practical support that connects farming and post-harvest improvement with buyer requirements.
Practical farmer support
Through Diamex, we plan training and guidance in improved, responsible farming practices to support productivity and product quality. Harvesting, fermentation, drying and post-harvest handling are intended areas of practical support, connected to buyer feedback and how quality is evaluated. We plan incentives linked to quality and consistency as these relationships develop.
A stronger connection to the market
We aim to share market information and buyer expectations through Diamex, including feedback that helps producers understand how their products are evaluated. More direct and transparent purchasing relationships are intended to keep that exchange going beyond a single purchase. We also plan to strengthen traceability and record-keeping progressively, connecting identified lots with available origin, handling and quality records.
Opportunity for the next generation
As sourcing activities grow, we intend to develop a scholarship programme for children from participating farming families. The intention is to develop it gradually, with eligibility criteria and funding linked to the growth and performance of sourcing activities. Those arrangements are still to be established; this is not an active scholarship programme.
Building lasting relationships
These intentions connect practical improvement at origin with the information and consistency buyers need. We want producers to be recognised as long-term partners, with clearer feedback and a stronger voice in the market their work serves. We will share specific initiatives and results as they are established and documented.
